The Third Huairou Forum "Biomedical Imaging: Future Technologies and Future Scientists"
Imaging technology, as one of the most important research tools in biomedicine, has become one of the life sciences and clinical medicine The core driving force for research and development. Peking University has collaborated with multiple units to build a national major scientific and technological infrastructure for the 13th Five Year Plan in Huairou Science City - a multimodal and cross scale biomedical imaging facility, providing imaging omics research tools for complex life science problems and major diseases. It provides cross scale visualization and precise measurement of the structure and function of life bodies, thereby deciphering the mysteries of life and diseases. In order to fully leverage the exemplary and radiative role of imaging facilities as national facilities, promote the development of cutting-edge biomedical imaging science and technology, and promote independent innovation of high-end biomedical imaging equipment in China, we have established the "Huairou Forum", which gathers the wisdom of biomedical researchers in various fields and utilizes multimodal and cross scale advanced system imaging capabilities to promote original research on major scientific issues and technological innovation, Provide more solutions for the cause of human health.
The third "Huairou Forum" is jointly organized by Peking University and the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, and will be held from November 3 (Friday) to 5 (Sunday), 2023 at the Huairou Science City in Beijing. The theme of this forum is "Biomedical Imaging: Future Technologies and Future Scientists". We have invited top domestic and international experts such as Stefan W. Helll, a Nobel laureate in 2014, to jointly explore the world's cutting-edge trends in the future development of biomedical imaging technology.
