    Dr. Zhang mainly focuses on the mechanism of neurotransmitter release and the plasticity regulation. She joined the National Biomedical Imaging Center (NBIC) at Peking University as an assistant professor in 2024. Dr. Zhang’s primary research interests include the neurotransmitters release/co-release, the interaction between neuroendocrine system and nervous system by using electrophysiology, electrochemistry, combined with multimode imaging and cell/molecular biology.
