CHANG Hao

  • School of Future Technology, Peking University

National Biomedical Imaging Center, Peking University
  • 个人简介
Dr. Chang’s research focuses on the gut-brain axis and brain-body communications, with particular emphasis on how neural circuits regulate gastrointestinal function and how stress, emotion, and the gut microbiota influence each other bidirectionally. His work aims to uncover how the central nervous system senses and modulates the gastrointestinal environment via pathways such as the vagus nerve, and to elucidate the roles of the brain–gut–microbiota system in metabolic disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and mood-related conditions.

Dr. Chang takes a multidisciplinary approach, integrating neurogenetics, molecular biology, super-resolution imaging, and AI-based neural network modeling to systematically investigate gut-brain signaling across multiple spatial and temporal scales. He has published as first or corresponding author in leading international journals including Cell, Nature Methods, and PNAS.
