- Dr. Lu is mainly engaged in the research of artificial intelligence, machine vision and multimodal medical imaging technology in the interdisciplinary field of information science and biomedical engineering, focusing on learning strategies under limited supervised conditions, robust interpretable models and attribution methods, as well as multimodal large models and generative artificial intelligence, with multimodal and cross-scale biomedical information and image processing, analysis and visualization as the main application directions. The related work has been published in top journals in the fields of artificial intelligence (TPAMI, TNNLS), machine vision (IJCV), medical imaging (TMI, MedIA), nuclear medicine (JNM), as well as top conferences in the field of computer science such as CVPR, ICCV, ICLR, NeurIPS, AAAI, ECCV, etc. More than 20 patents have been authorized, and 6 patents have been transformed by the industry.
