Zhibo Liu's research group (College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University & Center for Life Sciences, Peking-Tsinghua) has carried out research in molecular imaging, radioactive drugs, neutron capture therapy and other frontier areas. In recent years, he has presided over many research projects, including the State Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 60 papers, including Nature, JACS, Angewandte Chemie, etc., which have been featured in Science, Nature Reviews Immunology, C&EN News and other magazines. Several nuclear drug molecules have been carried out clinical research.
Research Interests:
Biochemistry and its driving forces in protein activation and drug release;
Imaging diagnostic probes and clinical translational research of rare diseases;
Neutron-capture therapeutic drugs and their radiation biological effects;
Production technology research and clinical application of new medical nuclides.
